This Privacy Policy explains how Smart Parking Limited (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Smart Parking – Easy Parking mobile application (the “App” or “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here. This policy applies to users in the United States and addresses the California Consumer Privacy Act and California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, CCPA/CPRA).
Information We Collect
- Phone Number: Collected through Firebase Authentication for account creation and login.
- Device & App Information: Limited technical data (e.g., device model, OS version, app version, basic diagnostics) to support security, fraud prevention, and performance.
- Payment Information: If you make a payment, processing is handled by our trusted payment providers. We do not store your full payment card details on our systems.
We do not require or intentionally collect your email address, name, physical address, contact list, photos, or social media profiles.
How We Use Your Information
- Authenticate and secure your account via phone number.
- Process parking payments and manage your active sessions.
- Improve reliability, safety, and performance of the App.
- Comply with U.S. legal obligations and enforce our terms.
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
When We Share Information
- Service Providers: e.g., Firebase (authentication) and payment processors (transaction handling).
- Legal Requirements: To comply with law, court order, or lawful government requests.
- Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your phone number and related account data only as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time by contacting us at privacy@smartparking.com.
Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards (such as encryption and secure authentication) to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children’s Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
California Privacy Rights (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents have the following rights, subject to exceptions:
- Right to Know: Request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collect, use, and disclose.
- Right to Delete: Request deletion of personal information we collected about you.
